Sorry I have been quite inactive once again as school work has been taking up most of my time. I recently visited Green Cay Nature Center and trails and captured a few heron, alligator, etc. shots that I will upload as soon as I can! I had an amazing experience as I stumbled into what appeared to be a monsterous 11ft male alligator attempting to court a 8ft female. He slapped his mouth and made deep growls while the female engaged with water dancing and opening her mouth both did this only a foot or so from me standing on a boardwalk and although it was somewhat intimidating, It was also incredible to watch. After some time the two swam further away towards shore with each other. I also was happy to see the Gallinules and Ducks with their cute fluffy chicks (I have some photos of both) the Gallinules are fun to watch as the mother will feed her babies little plant pieces.

Hey everyone, hope your weekends are going splendid. I'm here with some quick updates as my schedule has still been insanely crammed and I have barely been able to even go out and take some photos...

As of now all of my Heron and Gallinule shots have been uploaded, however I still need to upload my gator shots and will begin so shortly after they have been water marked. Recently I also had the pleasure of stumbling on a beautiful Cuban Tree frog while out on a night hike around the house. I have several shots to upload that I think some of you will enjoy immensely. They were a pain to come by as the only way I find them so late at night is by crawling under plants with a flashlight. Anyone who lives in Florida or other tropical areas will understand when I say we have some BIG creepy crawlies that go bump in the night and while searching for tree frogs I often come into contact with some insects as well. I have been asked multiple times on how I capture so many photos of frogs and have them hold still...My secret is pointing the flash in such a way that it does not bother the frog but gives adequate lighting for my photo. With bright lights night tree frogs tend to startle and jump up and straight and I'd rather not get a face-ful of frog. XD Slow movements also help, remember we are scary giants to them. I also have a couple random shots to include to my gallery such as the Golden Orb Weaver Spider I care for at the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center and one of their adorable Cowfish they have in a massive salt water exhibit. Keep an eye out for those to be posted. I may or may not update this to let you guys know...

I am still uncertain of a username change, however I have decided to finally create a facebook account for Tropical Dreams Photography. The page is not viewable as of now, but I will let you guys know as soon as it is up and running properly. Last but not least I have been enjoying Monster Hunter 3DS (Yes I enjoy video games a lot) as I became a fan after the newer Wii version, Monster Hunter Tri, was released. This game is absolutely stunning and just as wonderful to play on the 3DS and I recommend it to anyone owning a 3DS or 3DS XL or to anyone that enjoys Role Playing/Fantasy Action Hunting Adventure of giant monsters such as Dragons, and different mammalian beasts. If any of you play let me know, I Kick Ass on LIVE when I have the free time to play XD

Well that is all the time I have for now, hope everyone continues to enjoy the rest of their weekend, I have much more to update but am strapped of time for the moment.
